In Galveston Bay, Texas, on the Gulf of Mexico, thousands of Latino fishermen face serious challenges just to survive. These challenges range from worsening water pollution and rising diesel prices to hurricane-driven destruction. Mariana Pineda visited the area, spoke with Latino fishermen, experts, and officials, and reports on the challenges of maintaining sustainable fishing.
