AI

Artificial Intelligence in Everyday Life

AI is rapidly transforming the way people work, learn, access public services, and get information. At the same time, it has fueled disinformation, scams, and surveillance—especially targeting vulnerable populations such as low-income Latinos, rural communities, and immigrants. To inform our audience, we are launching a digital series in Spanish and Indigenous languages featuring in-depth reporting, public service announcements, and interview and call-in programs. Our programming will help audiences not only understand these changes but also shape how AI is used in their communities.

Arts in Fresno

Arts in Fresno

Fresno is home to a vibrant and diverse artistic community, expressed through its arts district and a rich culture of murals, mariachi concerts, folkloric dance celebrations, Guelaguetza festivals, book fairs, and floricanto gatherings. To support these voices, city voters approved Measure P, the Cultural Arts Plan. With funding from this plan and the Kresge Foundation, Radio Bilingüe creates platforms for folk and community-based artists.

Over the course of a year, with support from the USC Annenberg Center for Health Journalism, our team will document through this reporting series how these families and communities experience equity gaps in their daily lives: whose care is delayed, whose health is compromised, and whose voices continue to be ignored.
