Onda Tejana

This bilingual English-Spanish program airs a unique blend of conjunto music from accordion virtuosos like Rubén Vela, Gilberto Pérez and Tony de la Rosa; Chicano groups like Little Joe and Latin Breed; accordion legends like Esteban “Steve” Jordan, and “progressive” Tejano bands. Tejanos from California, Washington State, Idaho and other states are able to send greetings and dedications to their loved ones in Texas and wherever they have settled in different parts of the United States. Presented in Spanish and English.
