At Radio Bilingüe, we recognize the importance of privacy to visitors of our website and services. This Privacy Policy explains what type of information is collected from you when you contact Radio Bilingüe or visit, register for or participate in the Radio Bilingüe Website (the “Website”) and how that information may be used. Please note that this Privacy Policy is separate and distinct from the privacy policies governing any other website that may link to or from the Radio Bilingüe Website.

Radio Bilingüe collects information that personally identifies you. Depending on your interaction with Radio Bilingüe and the Website, we may collect information such as your name, email address, address, telephone number or credit card information. This information may be collected when you call in to a program or leave a message for producers on a call-in line or it may be requested when you register on the Website or for certain features it offers, when you submit or post a comment, message, story idea, photo, image or other content (“User Content”), when you make a donation or when you download or share information from the Website, and in other circumstances that may be specified at the time the information is collected.

Radio Bilingüe uses the personally identifying information for the following purposes: to manage and administer the Website; to respond to your messages; to identify you when you submit content; to process a donation; to communicate with you in our emails, newsletters, marketing and promotional communications or for other purposes that may be specified at the time the information is used. We may post personal information that you disclose when you submit User Content such as a story, blog, image or photo to the Website, as well as the User Content itself, on the Website and it may become public.

With regard to User Content, Radio Bilingüe and its licensees do have the right to use, copy, sublicense, modify, transmit, publicly perform, display, create derivative works of, host, index, cache, tag, encode, and/or adapt any User Content in any and all media formats or channels, whether now known or hereafter devised, including, but not limited to, the Website, any member station Websites, other third party Websites, over the air (on radio or television), and on mobile platforms, along with any personal information you have provided. We may print, broadcast or otherwise publish your User Content on the Website or on any broadcast or mobile platform along with any personal information that you have provided. Other users of the Websites may embed a widget or feed that allows your User Content to appear on their personal, noncommercial Website, blog or other application, along with the personal information you have provided, subject to conditions set forth in the Terms of Use.

We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, e.g. in response to a subpoena or court order. We may also disclose your personal information at the request of a law enforcement agency or if we believe that it is necessary to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of the Website, to protect the personal safety or property of other users of the Website, the public or Radio Bilingüe and its employees or as otherwise required or permitted by law.

Other than for the preceding purposes, Radio Bilingüe does not use or share the information that personally identifies you. We sometimes use the non-personally identifiable information that we collect, and share it in aggregate form only with third parties, to improve the design and content of or to analyze usage of our broadcasts and the Website.

This includes submitting personal information to Radio Bilingüe as part of a user profile or personalization profile. If Radio Bilingüe decides to begin collecting personal information from children, it will notify parents that it is being requested, disclose the reasons for collecting it, and disclose our intended use of it.
