Urge to Ratify Historic Commitment to Protect One-Third of the Planet

In a bold effort to save the world’s oceans from overfishing, garbage, and global warming, the environmental organization Greenpeace is traveling the world in a boat promoting the 30 x 30 agreement. In that commitment, signed last year by more than 180 countries, they pledge to protect one-third of marine and terrestrial biodiversity by 2030. Aboard the Greenpeace ship, Alejandro Maciel spoke with three environmentalists who witnessed the environmental deterioration largely caused by the oil and gas industry. Alejandro brings us this report from the Port of Long Beach, California.
