Trump Intensifies Tariff War Against Mexico

We are one week away from Trump’s deadline to impose 30 percent tariffs on Mexico. The president claims that the neighboring country has not done enough to stop the flow of fentanyl into the United States. President Sheinbaum has denied the accusations and expressed confidence that an agreement will be reached during the intense negotiations on the trade agreement, known as the USMCA.
