Texas’ Latino Vote Could Decide a Senate Seat

A Senate race in Texas is drawing national attention because of its potential to shift the national balance of power. The seat in question has been held by a Republican for nearly 40 years, and if it changes hands in November, it could help give Democrats a majority in the U.S. Senate. In the final weeks of campaigning, Democrat James Talarico and Republican Kent Paxton are stepping up their efforts to win over Latino voters. Mariana Pineda is following the campaign closely and brings us this report from Houston.
