Supreme Court Reaffirms Right to Citizenship for Children of Undocumented Immigrants

After more than two months of deliberations, the Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional President Donald Trump’s executive order denying birthright citizenship to the children of undocumented immigrants or temporary visitors. Although the president urged Republicans to seek changes through the legislative process, Latino community leaders are relieved and confident that this outcome will encourage voters to turn out for the November 3rd election.
