Campaigns for and against Proposition 50 are in full swing in California’s Central Valley. Democrats are pushing the measure to counteract the five Republican districts formed in Texas at the request of President Trump, who does not want to lose his majority in the House of Representatives in 2026. Daniela Rodríguez reports from the city of Fresno on arguments for and against the proposal, which will be put to voters in a special election on November 4th.
