Play Takes a Humorous Look at Immigration Drama

“El Rayo: or Self-Deportation Nation” is a play that draws on the experiences of a family with mixed immigration status in California’s Central Valley. Written by Rodolfo Robles Cruz, it combines comedy, drama, and a touch of science fiction, reflecting on the difficult times immigrants are facing.
