Mexico: 11 Years Since Ayotzinapa

Eleven years after the disappearance of 43 students from the Ayotzinapa rural teachers’ college, activists and families continue to march and protest, demanding truth and justice. This program also features interviews with prominent mothers searching for their missing children, who were recently honored with a major national human rights award. In other news, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum mourned the death of Ismael Ayala-Uribe, a Mexican national who died in a California hospital while in the custody of ICE at Victor Valley Global Medical Center in Victorville, stating that if anyone is responsible, they must be punished. These and other news are discussed in this program.
