Immigrants’ Contributions Celebrated on César Chávez Day

To celebrate César Chávez Day, thousands of agricultural and service workers and allied groups marched through Delano, California, the cradle of national labor organizing for farm workers. The theme of the rally was “With These Hands,” highlighting the important contributions of immigrants in California’s economy and denouncing raids and deportations. Daniela Rodríguez was there and brings us the heartfelt testimonies of immigrant families who participated proudly in the day’s events.
