Environmental Solutions Proposed to Face Colorado River Crisis

Following the failure of negotiations on the allocation of Colorado River water, the federal government presented a 10-year plan under which three of the seven states involved will receive a reduced water supply. The proposal is sparking discontent, and legal battles are expected. Meanwhile, scientists, lawyers, negotiators, and Indigenous leaders agree that the real challenge goes beyond water allocation.
