Colorado Bill to Protect Outdoor Workers Moves Forward

In Colorado, a proposal to protect thousands of outdoor workers has advanced in the state legislature’s health committee. If approved, the law would guarantee paid breaks, access to drinking water and shade, as well as other necessary measures to improve working conditions amid an increasingly unpredictable and dangerous climate. Jesús Sánchez Melean spoke with a worker and the bill’s sponsors, and he brings us the details from Denver.
