Amid the national crisis caused by a lack of access to affordable homes for purchase or rent, a law called the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act took effect with bipartisan support, though without President Trump’s signature. The legislation, which includes direct aid and incentives for housing solutions, was met with optimism. José López Zamorano spoke with a Latino couple who can now become homeowners and brings us their story from Washington, D.C.
