Although overdose deaths from fentanyl and other opioids have decreased thanks to greater access to antidotes, the dangers remain. That’s why a group of students launched an intensive educational campaign on the benefits of Narcan, also known as the “life-saving spray,” which is used in emergencies. They’re also calling for more schools in the Central Valley to have doses available. María Cortez brings us a detailed report from Fresno, California.
