A month after the Trump administration claimed, without evidence, that thousands of noncitizens had illegally registered to vote in Nevada, DHS was unable to produce any proof. Meanwhile, Trump is once again casting doubt on the outcome of the 2020 election, citing a U.S. Census analysis he says concludes that thousands of noncitizens voted illegally. In related news, HSI agents say that by investigating alleged noncitizen voting, the agency has neglected organized crime investigations. Analysts weigh in on these developing stories.
