Mobile clinics that bring medical care to rural communities in California’s Central Valley, where health insurance is scarce, are on the verge of running out of funding. On top of that, fear of immigration raids is causing a drop in attendance at these mobile clinics. How can we prevent the people who grow the nation’s food from being left without medical care?
