Trump to Gut Head Start

WEDNESDAY, MAY 7
PROGRAM #10767 12:00 PM PT
Trump to Gut Head Start.
The Trump administration asked Congress to eliminate the Head Start program, a move that would cut early education and child care for more than 800,000 children and their families. Some say the gutting of childcare for hundreds of thousands will have ripple effects for the entire nation. Civil rights groups are challenging those plans in court.
Guest: Xochitl Oseguera, National Vice President, MomsRising and MamásConPoder, Berkeley, CA.
