The killing of a Mexican man shot by ICE in Texas sparks vigils and protests

The death of Mexican immigrant Lorenzo Salgado Araujo at the hands of ICE agents in Houston has sparked despair and unanswered questions. The victim’s family, along with civil and political rights organizations, is demanding an independent investigation. For its part, the Mexican government says it will move from a diplomatic note to taking legal action in defense of its citizens in the United States.
