The Dirtiest: The “Carbon Majors”. 

The world’s largest climate polluters are responsible for nearly half of the impacts of climate change on the water crisis in the US West. Driven by their greenhouse gas emissions, the world’s top fossil fuel producers and cement manufacturers are worsening drought conditions in the West and harming U.S. communities and agriculture. Scientists provide evidence of the worst effects and track down the pollution. This is another episode in our series, “Cuando se seca el arroyo.”
