The recent killing of Alex Pretti, a nurse shot by two federal agents during violent immigration raids in Minneapolis, has increased opposition to ICE’s presence throughout the state of Minnesota. Although the White House has made adjustments and is in dialogue with local authorities, the situation is far from normal. How is the Latino community handling this climate of persecution? Gerardo Guzmán has prepared the following report with some reactions.
