Recounting the past, telling the future. 

A collective of Chicano and Chicana writers has just published a collection of short stories aimed at capturing the Chicano, Chicana, and Latinx experience — helping young people develop a strong sense of identity and discover their ancestral roots. The new book, titled “Reflecting Our Past to Design Our Future,” is intended to serve as a literary resource for high school ethnic studies teachers.

Guests: Writers Bertha Felix-Mata, Fresno, CA; Leticia Quezada, Palm Springs, CA; and Juan Flores, Fresno, CA — all members of the Central Valley Chicana and Chicano Writers Collective.
