Electoral Process Challenges in Jalisco. Review of the elections in Jalisco, where citizens will vote for a new governor, 38 local deputies, 125 trusteeships, 125 municipal mayoralties, and 1,231 council seats.
Jalisco is one of the key states in the upcoming June 2nd election, not only because it ranks third in the country in terms of the number of voters, with over 6.6 million electors, but also because it is one of the two strongholds of the Movimiento Ciudadano, along with Nuevo León.
