Reversing Climate Policies. The Trump administration signed an order to roll back fuel economy standards for automakers, a measure that may increase tailpipe emissions from cars and trucks, and slow the adoption of electric vehicles. Previously, Trump had ordered to eliminate tax credits for people buying electric vehicles and federal money to help install charging stations. Trump is also halting the leasing of federal lands and waters for new wind farms. Will any climate funding survive?
