New York Primaries: Is a new Democratic leadership emerging?

The New York primaries shook up the Democratic Party. Mayor Mamdani’s allies won three races—including victories over two influential members of Congress—running on a platform that was staunchly pro-worker, pro-immigrant, and opposed to the Israeli government lobby. What does this result mean for November? Is the progressive wing of the Democratic Party gaining momentum? Can these leaders from a solidly liberal area win elections in the country’s conservative strongholds?

Cancer does not affect everyone equally. A young patient diagnosed with colorectal cancer had to have his colon removed and subsequently undergo a full course of chemotherapy.
