On the eve of the traditional Día de los Muertos, residents of Mexico City share stories about their offerings, altars, other rituals, and the special place given to dogs who, in life, were loyal companions and, after death, serve as guides accompanying their owners on the journey to Mictlán, the resting place of souls. In another segment, a social activist discusses the procedures, costs, and available assistance in the United States to repatriate the body or ashes of a loved one to Mexico.
