Mexico: Sheinbaum launched the National Network of Women’s Lawyers

President Donald Trump signed an executive order authorizing US troops to operate in foreign territory to confront criminal groups classified as terrorists. In her news conference, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum stated that the United States will not enter Mexico with its military. In addition, Mexican women of African descent gathered for a meeting that aims to celebrate the contributions of Afro-Mexican women and discuss topics such as visibility, racism, identity, and territorial defense. Federal Representative Rosa María Castro Salinas, an Afro-Mexican, speaks about the progress and challenges faced by Black women in Mexico.
