MEXICO 2024: SECOND PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE
Radio Bilingüe connected for two hours this Sunday, April 28, from 7 pm to 9 pm (Pacific Time), to broadcast live from Estudios Churubusco in Mexico City, the Second Presidential Debate of Mexico. This debate addressed “The Path for the Development of Mexico,” covering critical subtopics such as economic growth, employment and inflation; employment and inequality; infrastructure and development; and climate change and sustainable development.
Presidential candidates Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo from the coalition Let’s Keep Making History, Xóchitl Gálvez Ruiz from the coalition Strength and Heart for Mexico, and Jorge Álvarez Maynez from Citizen’s Movement, discussed their proposals in the second of three planned debates for the 2024 elections.

This second debate, as well as the third and final one scheduled for May 19, was broadcasted in Spanish by Radio Bilingüe. The simultaneous translations in the most widely spoken indigenous languages: Maya, Nahuatl, and Tsotsil, as well as Mexican Sign Language, will be broadcast live by the INE on its YouTube channel, ensuring accessibility and inclusion.
