Meanwhile, he boosted funding for deportations. Democrats, moderate Republicans and activist groups are speaking out against the cuts, which could include Medicaid. Where is Due Process for Migrants Detained in Florida? – With a six-day immigration raid, Florida has become the state with the most arrests of undocumented immigrants during Donald Trump’s administration. Federal, state and municipal agents participated in the massive operation, which was announced as the first of several future operations. Attorneys and community leaders, however, rejected the criminalization of immigrants and demanded respect for due process. Diana Montaño reports from Miami.

Border Militarization Worries Residents of El Paso, Texas – The deployment of more than 2,000 soldiers and armored military vehicles along the border with Mexico, particularly in the state of Texas, was announced as an operation to reinforce security in the area.
