Laura Ramos, interim director of the Institute, explains why it’s essential to understand where our water comes from and how to address local challenges. How can we promote conscious water use? What are public agencies doing about it? Why is it important to understand the value of water in the Central Valley? And what does the future hold for the supply of this vital resource in one of the country’s key agricultural regions?
