Growing with Latino Support
The new congressional map of Texas, approved by the Republican majority there, has sparked political debate across the state. Latino leaders have filed a lawsuit to suspend what they believe is an illegal modification of voting districts. They argue that the measure seeks to dilute Latino and African-American representation and, in turn, weaken the Democratic vote in the 2026 midterm elections. Mariana Pineda reports from Houston.
