Extra Edition: Corridos del San Joaquín. 

The corrido, a Mexican ballad tradition that dates back 200 years and reached a peak in popularity during the Mexican Revolution, will be celebrated in Fresno as the central theme of the concert Corridos del San Joaquin. At the event, on December 8, corridistas will be recognized for their creative work of composing and singing to folk heroes or on the joys and sorrows of people in the San Joaquin Valley. Organizers talk about the concert.
