Mental health care leaders comment on a study revealing the impact elections have on emotional health. Many Latinos anticipated having a heated political discussion with their family members this election season and while some expected family relationships to worsen, most said their family will weather the storm and get along when the holidays arrive. Now that the election is over, many are weary and concerned about the future. How to deal with post-Election Day anxiety and stress?

States Prepare to Fight Trump. After the outcome in the presidential contest, Leaders in Democratic-led states begin planning to fight Trump policies in the courts in areas such as reproductive freedoms, immigrant rights, environmental protections, and civil liberties. The governors of Washington, Illinois and California are calling on their state lawmakers to prepare to block potential attacks.
