In Colorado, following a heated primary election, a Democratic district attorney and a former military officer and conservative Republican activist will face off in November for the state governorship. In recent decades, Colorado—where the majority of voters are registered as independents—has supported Democrats. The big question in this election is whether the MAGA movement’s candidate will be able to convince them to vote for him. Jesús Sánchez Meleán reports from Denver.
