Coloradans Oppose Remittance Tax Roundly Rejected in Colorado

The mega budget package recently approved by the House of Representatives includes a 3.5 percent tax on the money immigrants send back to their countries of origin, known as remittances. In Colorado, the proposal has been rejected by citizens, business leaders and politicians. They consider this tax an unfair double taxation on immigrant families. The measure will now be discussed in the Senate, as Jesús Sánchez Melean reports from Denver.
