Bukele Deepens Commitment to Trump’s Deportation Plan

Defying court orders, President Trump is continuing to send immigrants labeled as criminals to a “mega prison” in El Salvador without due process. During a visit to the White House, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele refused to release a man who was imprisoned by mistake and also reaffirmed his commitment to build more prisons. Gerardo Guzmán spoke with Salvadoran journalist Leonel Herrera about this and more.
