House Republicans passed a budget bill that would allocate up to $95 billion to fund the war in Iran, provide aid to farmers, and back Trump’s election restrictions proposal, known as the SAVE America Act. Democrats continue to oppose the continuation of the war in Iran as well as the president’s strict new voting requirements. Republicans are seeking to pass the plan with only Republican votes, but several Senate party colleagues have yet to come on board.
