A Musical Reunion of Mexicans and Hawaiians. 

The award-winning cultural and music group Los Cenzontles has released their new album Adios Ke Aloha, Waves of the Same Sea, celebrating a tradition born when Mexican vaqueros traveled to Hawaii, taught Hawaiian ranchers the craft of cattle wrangling, and gave rise to the culture of the paniolo, the Hawaiian cowboy and troubadour. In collaboration with the legendary Taj Mahal and David Hidalgo, Los Cenzontles weave together Hawaiian guitars, Mexican harp, accordion, and vocals in Spanish, Hawaiian, and English in an extraordinary effort of borderless cultural reconnection.
