Samuel Rodríguez
Programmer/Producer – KSJV
Samuel fell in love with radio when he was still in junior high. When he was only 14 years old, he started training to be a programmer and earned his FCC license at age 15. Throughout high school, Samuel took weekend jobs with commercial radio stations and in 1979, he came to Radio Bilingüe through a summer youth program. In 1999, Samuel returned to Radio Bilingüe as a volunteer programmer and soon after began working as a programmer and producer full time. He has hosted many of Radio Bilingüe’s shows since their very beginnings, including Mañanitas con Mariachi, Onda Tejana and Calendario Comunitario. For several years, Samuel acted as Emcee for Radio Bilingüe’s ¡Viva el Mariachi! Festival.
