Farmers and ranchers in the United States are facing a perfect storm, with a tariff war that has hampered markets and made it harder to access credit, plus a labor shortage due to indiscriminate immigration raids across the country. Leaders in the agricultural sector warn that if current policies are not changed, many businesses will go bankrupt by the end of the year, and we will see price increases for fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as their derivatives.
