Workers Displaced by Increasing Agricultural Automation Get Training

One of the country’s largest fruit producers has declared bankruptcy, leaving thousands of workers unemployed in California’s San Joaquin Valley. The effects of climate change and agricultural automation continue to displace workers from this region and other parts of the country. In response, alternative training courses are being funded for new jobs. Esther Quintanilla visited a training center and gives us this report from California’s Central Valley.
