Unions support community to stand up to anti-immigrant policies

Raids continue in cities with Democratic governments in the U.S., but the presence of young people in the protests is also growing, as they have taken to the streets to give a voice to their parents and grandparents who are silent out of fear.
Max Arias, Executive Director, SEIU Local 99, Los Angeles, CA tells us how the current crackdown is impacting mixed-status families.
He says that in the unified school district in LA, they are working to make people aware of their rights and those on the doorstep talk about how to protect the facilities.
She also acknowledges that there is fear because many times they don’t know who is stopping them.
