Court Upholds Raids

By Radio Bilingüe
Published September 12, 2025

The Supreme Court lifted temporary restrictions on immigration raids, allowing agents to resume detentions based on a person’s appearance, language, and location.

It is important to remember that a federal court, and then a federal appeals court, had prohibited Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents from detaining people solely on the basis of their race, language, job, or location until further notice. However, this decision gives them the green light to do so.

Polo Morales of the California Immigrant Policy Center says it is unjust to allow racial profiling raids and warns that it is a threat and an attack on our community.

He acknowledges that every day is a sad situation because they do not go out to work and live in fear.

Although there is fear, there is always support from the community. Polo Morales of the California Immigrant Policy Center comments on the actions our migrants are taking.

He acknowledges that the Supreme Court is supporting the Trump administration and its anti-immigrant policies.

Polo Morales of the California Immigrant Policy Center reports that this is not a final ruling, so there is still hope.

He also acknowledges that this court ruling opens the door to injustice.

Finally, he gives us some recommendations if we are on the street and are stopped by ICE agents.
