If you write or sing corridos you can participate in the corrido contest organized by the Alliance for California Traditional Arts and Radio Bilingüe, a project called Sonidos de California en el Valle de San Joaquin.
The deadline to submit your corrido is October 7.
Corridos can be written in Spanish, English or other indigenous languages of Mexico, and submissions are accepted in a variety of formats, including audio or video.
Recordings can range from simple phone recordings to professionally edited files, but audio submissions must be in MP3 format.
