Organizations implement actions to protect immigrants

Immigrant advocates and legal services are rushing to help immigrants cope with threats of mass deportation in a second Trump administration. Even some local governments are vowing to resist and defy federal plans to deport millions with the help of National Guard troops.

Eliana Gonzalez Director of the immigration legal services program, at the Immigrant Rights and Education Network-SIREN, explains what they are doing as an organization to protect immigrants and how they will get governments to support them in the goal.

She also asks California Governor Gavin Newsom not to take away resources to defend them.
