Netanyahu offers controversial address to the US Congress.

Dozens of Democratic lawmakers are expected to boycott Netanyahu’s speech, because of Israel’s responsibility for the humanitarian disaster for Palestinians in Gaza. Netanyahu also is expected to face significant protests from U.S. activists who oppose the war, and Israeli pro-democracy activists who oppose his conservative regime.
