Netanyahu offers controversial address to the US Congress.

Israel’s Prime Minister was scheduled to speak in a joint session of Congress in Washington in a quest for continued US support for Israel’s invasion of Gaza. Dozens of Democratic lawmakers are expected to boycott Netanyahu’s speech, because of Israel’s responsibility for the humanitarian disaster for Palestinians in Gaza. Netanyahu also is expected to face significant protests from U.S. activists who oppose the war, and Israeli pro-democracy activists who oppose his conservative regime.

Guests: José López Zamorano, News Correspondent, Washington, DC; excerpts from recent statements by US President, Joe Biden.

Harris-Trump clash and the latino vote. Vice President Kamala Harris is kicking off a fast-track campaign after President Biden dropped out of the presidential race. The Democratic Party announced it will deliver a presidential nominee through an “open and fair process” by August 7, before the national convention. Can Harris secure the nomination and beat Trump? How will Latino and young voters react in the face of a Harris vs Trump matchup?

Guests: Rep. Norma Torres, US Congresswoman D-California, Washington, DC; Ben Monterroso, Senior Advisor, PoderLatinx, Washington, DC.
