Latinos drive and grow the U.S. economy

A new report from UCLA and Cal Lutheran has been released, which reveals that Hispanic and Latino immigrants contribute significantly to the growth of the U.S. economy. These figures are relevant in the current context of anti-immigrant policies and raids.

Dr. David Hayes-Bautista, Chief Demographer, Latino GDP Project, and Professor of Medicine and Director, Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture at the University of California at Los Angeles-UCLA explains the impact of the Latino contribution.

He even says that if Latinos were an economy of a country we would be one of the most important in the country.

But not only that, the Latino labor force and population is also growing.
