Last day to register for the subsidy to those affected by the fires

Los Angeles County residents who were affected by the Eaton and Palisades fires and windstorms have until March 12 to apply for grants ranging from $6,000 to $18,000 depending on the composition of their home.
Therefore, we kindly remind you that you have today, if you are a resident of Los Angeles County and were affected by the Eaton and Palisades fires and windstorms of 2025 you can apply for the Los Angeles County Home Relief Grant Program this March 12 is the deadline.
Remember that the program, administered by the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA) in partnership with The Center by Lendistry, provides immediate financial assistance to help affected households cover essential expenses not covered by other forms of assistance.
When the fires broke out in LA County, the program opened on February 26, and to date, just over 8,000 applications have been submitted.
In fact Rafael Carbajal, Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Affairs, states that they do not want “anyone who qualifies to miss out on this opportunity to receive assistance”, he adds that “this grant provides quick financial relief and I urge those affected by the wildfires to submit it before Wednesday’s deadline”.
He then presented the details of the grant program.
As I mentioned, grant amounts range from $6,000 to $18,000, depending on the size and composition of the household.
Eligible uses of resources are unmet needs that are not covered by other forms of assistance.
It is very important that if you have not applied and are eligible, look for the program as the application period closes today, Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 5:00 pm.

It is relevant to remember that in addition to the $32.2 million in funds allocated to the program, Los Angeles County has launched a Disaster Relief and Recovery Donation Portal.
