This call comes as the new presidential team and nominees for the justice and homeland security departments reaffirm their promise of large-scale raids and mass deportations. Crucial Aid for Los Angeles Fire Victims – In Los Angeles, hundreds of families affected by the Eaton Fire, which devastated thousands of homes near the wooded areas of Pasadena and Altadena, located northeast of Los Angeles, came to a convention center to seek help. Some lost their property or were evacuated to escape the danger. Others are in search of the essentials: water, food, medical attention, or a place to stay. Alejandro Maciel spoke with some of those affected and shares their dramatic testimonies from the city of Pasadena.  
 
Texas Rejects Announced Tariff War with Mexico – Trade between Texas and Mexico represents one of the most important economic relationships in the region. However, it now faces an uncertain outlook. President-elect Donald Trump says he wants to impose tariffs on Mexican imports to the United States if Mexico does not halt undocumented immigration and drug trafficking.
